Crystal Labyrinth
What is it?
A plethora of challenges stand between your team and the conquering of the Crystal Labyrinth.
Battling through skill, physical, or mental activities, teams will apply all their resources and skills to gain coloured crystals. Each team must tackle the different themed zones and complete the games in the time given.
With all zones completed, the challengers are then able to make their way to a thrilling finale inside the crystal dome. Each crystal won during the event represents an amount of time inside the dome. Team members are sent inside to collect as much fun money as possible - which at that point is being blown furiously around the glass structure!
Example Challenges
Aztec Zone: Pyramid
How did they do it? How long did it take for them to be built? All these questions remain unanswered. Your team has an apparently easy task ahead. What day was the pyramid completed? With a set of clues and a single means of communication, will you find the answer?
Futuristic Zone: Pulsar Pod
Inside the giant inflatable Pod’s dimly lit, smoke-filled tunnels, surrounded by high-tech sound effects, have the laser gun at the ready and employ the best strategy to score the highest number of hits.
Medieval Zone: Medieval Catapult
Your team must join forces to design and build your medieval catapult. Made from lengths of wood, rope and bungee cord, the team will have to race against the clock to wage war and successfully shoot down their targets.
Industrial Zone: Fluid Dynamics
Stabilise the radioactive fluid by calculating the process of dividing an even quantity of fluid in half using odd unit sized tubes. You really need to trust your team mates to do this right!
Ocean Zone: Surf Challenge
Grab your body board, shorts and goggles and charge like a wounded bull... surf’s up! Belly surf on our special inflatable Bondi Beach Surf Run and see who can go the greatest distance.
These are just a selection of challenges that can be completed – plenty more suggestions are available. Other bespoke zones can also be created, such as the Environmental Zone, Time Traveller Zone, Danger Zone and Mystery Zone, depending on your objectives.
Theming can include netting and obstacles to climb under and over between zones, actors to further enhance the experience and a prison to send team members who misbehave or aren’t successful in their games!
The Crystal Dome - “Start the fans, please!”
Teams are allocated an amount of time in the impressive Crystal Dome according to how many crystals they have won. The lights go up, the fans start, each team tries to collect as much money as they can before their time runs out. The team with the most money will be declared the winners of The Crystal Labyrinth.
